Unit 13 and 14 Teacher feedback Kathak Dance

 Alicia, you have attended most workshops and rehearsal for the Kathak dance project and engaged in the work in a positive way. In your Performance on Wednesday 14^th June 2023 you performed this ensemble dance piece with an understanding of the basic Kathak qualities we have been learning, applied to telling the story to a public audience. This style suited your movement quality and most of the time you were able to demonstrate effective hand eye co-ordination in the execution of the mudras as well as the rhythmic footwork. A lack of confidence in the material meant that you were not able to sustain these basic Kathak elements throughout the entre performance.

You work in a collaborative way with your group and in rehearsal you contributed to developing accuracy in formations, and timing in relation to each other. You respond in a positive way to feedback from your teacher and/or peers and use this feedback to further refine and develop your work
