Plie- To bend 

Tendu- To stretch 

Grand Jete- Full split leap in the air

Releve- To rise 

Retire- Bring foot up to knee 

Side Opposition- Arms out

Jazz Fourth- One foot in front of another (turn preparation)

Pirouette- A turn 

Parallel- Feet parallel like train tracks and knees in line with pelvis 

Pas de bourree- one foot behind, other to the side, then same foot that went behind goes to the front 

Arabesque- Leg out behind stretched at a right angle to supporting leg 

Jazz First- Feet parallel and together 

Rond de Jambe- Means round of the leg 

Jazz Second- Feet hip width apart but parallel

En face- To face the front
