Key Facts about Bob Fosse

All that Jazz was the only film that Fosse wrote, choreographed, and directed. People say that it is a "Fosse film" that is most Fosse.
Bob Fosse studied acting at the American Theatre Wing in New York, after being discharged from the Navy in 1947.
He made his Broadway debut in the chorus of "Dance me a Song" in 1950.
Fosse set the record for most Tony awards won, he won eight in total and has won more Tony's than anyone else.
He struggled with depression and mood swings, he met with a psychiatrist regularly to make sure he was okay and was given medication to alleviate his mood swings.
His signature style involves lots of bowler hats, white gloves and angular movements, he loved hats and gloves because they drew attention to the feature he wanted the audience to focus on most- the head and the hands.
